In context of the recent events i am going against my words and posting again on this forum.
Today is a very sad day for world cricket. The entertainment fact that has made the game so popular in the last few years which has been helped a lot by Afridi’s style of play will dramatically decrease. I predict cricket in your country and the world will drop in large numbers of followers because of this decision.
Some call his actions childish ( to retire), but i call it sensible…
Afridi was dropped against sri lanka in the 2nd test while being the most prominent player in Pakistani test cricket over the past year. This decision was the worst i feel in the history of cricket. Although dramatic i will stick by my word.
Although this day is not all negative as it leads to new beginnings. And i think Inzamam needs to be saked over this or announce his immediate retirement. And i would give the captaincy to youis khan or afridi.
Your cricket board should represent the people and this is why i am posting a poll on this…
By the way the whole point of this thread was to tell you guys i have had words with my state coach and he says that the Aussie team was realy fearing playing Afridi in the future. And he said that he has spoken to the management on the Australian team and that they were naming Afridi regularly as their most feared player in an attempt to add the fear factor in the bowlers becoming more consistent so such a player is unable to take a game away from them. Anyway Australia and every other team is now happy because the disgraceful decisions of pakistani cricket to 1 drop him for that test 2 to leave inzi as captain stuns me. You guys have just lost the biggest talent you have in that team…
How many of you guys think Inzamam should be immediately sacked from captain and that Afridi or Younis Khan should be captain. I know i do ???

There are these people in Pakistan cricket who are fat and turning grey, and need viagra extra strength, Inzamam being one of them..who think that Mudassar Nazar was a star because he scored the slowest,the most boring,the most pathetic hundered in test cricket and that Afridi's style of batting is immature.They just can't stand the fact Afridi is the biggest super star in Pakistan and that a lot of people watch cricket just because of him.They are just too jeolous of him and thats why they dropped him for no reason in that test match against srilanka.
Australia relaxes? Pakistan is not even scheduled to play any tests against Australia till the WC '07. What is Australia relaxing for? They should un-relax immediately and try to get over the Bangladesh blues they are facing in Fatullah.
And by the way, that whiner Marsh should get over his "Boohooo! Aussies are losing in Bangladesh because they are playing too much cricket... booohoooo!!!!". Simple truth is that Bangla bowlers bowled well in the first innings. EOS.

Afridi retired whats the big deal. We need him in ODI, he wants rest, let it be.
Abha nahi yaar, ****, his career is done, he sucks at odis, he said it is temporary but believe me its permanent, he will be dropped for his poor odi performances, and will never come back....hes so stupid, he was average 45+ in tests and he decides to retire, i'd rather him retire from ODIs than Tests.
