That man is a fool. No international cricketer would have done what Afridi the moron did; 15 off 24 balls, series on the line, tailender at the other end completely willing to give you strike since you are the "senior" batsman. Afridi, my friend, is an A-grade douche. The "This is my natural game, take it or leave it" crap doesn't cut it at this level.
