both are cheaters.. both have proven records of low moral values, both are power hungry and last but not least, both have bad/average statistics when comes to performance in their respective fields.. but yes he is good looking and i am still looking for other reasons that y people voted for him... same people might wanna vote for pamela anderson as actress of the decade...

May be people voted for him because he played a key role in winning the T20 world cup for Pakistan and for that a lot of people are grateful to him.
Yes Afridi is not the perfect human being. However is really shameful to compare him with the standard of shame Zardari. This tells how emotional or should I say melodramatic we are.

These kind of marassies can be your heroes not of Pakistani nation... Pakistani nation need real heroes and yes they are their not be appreciated yet playing their role... try to distinguish between national heroes and players who cause embarassment to the nation..
How many naitonal heroes in the world have been embarassement to their nations.. but yes the nation who worship Bhutto, Zia, NS and now zardari.. can have heroes like afridi... we deserve them...

anyway i am still waiting for the reasons that voters have in their mind while declaring him cricketer/player of decade... ofcourse performance on the ground has nothing to do with this voting.. as afiridi cannot be compared with ponting.. not even in his wildest dream
The fact that Afridi can attract more audience to the ground than any other cricketer is the reason why he was chosen. And if you compare him to Kamran Akmal then yeah he is good looking.

the Scientists of Pakistan who provided Pakistan with atomic technology
these are the unsung heroes of Pakistan and not some cheat who try to cheat in open while representing Pakistan and defaming his country…

O bhai cricket is just a game. He has not ruined the life of millions of people by eating the ball. yes, it caused some embarrassment but it is not the crime for which he should be compared with the likes of zardari.

what make you think that if given the chance and capability of cheating he has shown he will not cause the same amount of damage and as far as comparing is considered i guess he is far more stupid than zardari
Games at national level are not GAMES only.. otherwise countries may not invest their resources on players for playing and winning GAMES
