Guys, I gotta say just one thing. I have never seen anything like it. And to see it live was doubly impressive. The way in which he treated each and every bowler today... with utter disdain ... had no parallal in cricket. He hit 9 sixes and 10 fours out of 102. Means, he only ran 8 runs... I'd feel sorry for Indians, but I have no time. Afridi is simply an out-of-this-world cricketer.

Let’s not get carried away a bit too much here.If I had to choose between sehwag and afridi,i won’t even have to think twice before choosing sehwag.i mean c’mon guys, just look at the records in both tests and one dayers.sehwag has been around for even less than half the time afridi has and look at the impact he has made.he has almost 10 test centuries.Afridi no doubt is a great talent but the way he plays,there are bound to be days like today.but the question to be asked is,how often is that,10 years?(since the time he scored his 37 ball hundred)and how many in between.He is more of a lottery,a chance player,chala chala nahin to…that is why he hasn’t even been a regular in the pakistan team.Before declaring him the cleanest hitter of the game,think about gilchrist.u don’t have to swing wildly at every delivery and try to hit it for six.Gilly is the best and will remain the best for a while.
P.S I know it’s a very wrong time to make these comments but think about it with a cool head.u might be cursing him in the next match or next tour.meanwhile I am bracing myself for a backlash:D

Afridi is the DON

Fair enough he might not be sehwag, flintoff or peiterson but he is soo much more.

And his commitment to the team is immense. Its not just his batting but the bowling and if not either of those then the pathan chips in with the fielding. he is a real asset for us and long may he carry on playing because he cant be more then 25 now another 10 or soo years of afridi mania too come !! inshallah

OMG OMG!! gO AFRIDI..and again i missed the whole 102 runs in 46 balls hating my self
