****KARACHI: Shahid Afridi on Sunday announced he will retire from ODI cricket after the 2015 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, Express News reported.
He said he didn’t want to be a burden for the ODI team and is planning to focus on the T20 format of the game only. He said he will only participate in the T20 matches for Pakistan as a captain after the T20 World Cup.
He added that he has notified the board about his decision.
He also put forward his wish that he wanted the fastest century record to stay with him.
When asked about joining politics, he said he wants to take part in it but his elders tell him to refrain from it.

The only sensible inning I have seen from Afridi was final of World T20. I have more regard for him for his bowling.

Dont start again, everyone is not afridi fan and you have to live with it. Just because others are not as big a fan of afridi as you dont start accusing them.
