Sorry, but Afridi hasn't proved anything except that he's a pretty boy with lot's of girl fans. On flat tracks like Sharjah and the sub-continent he will do ok, but in more trying conditions like Australia where there is extra bounce and movement he won't get away with just slogging. It failed in the world cup and it was proper batsmen like Yousef Youhanna who shone in those conditions.
Having said that, Afridi has got plenty of ability and he is a very strong character so he should still be taken to Australia. He needs to learn to apply himself though.
