Thanks! I had heard the word kambakht - but did not know the origin - had not heard the badbakht and khushbakht words. So badbakht same as badnaseeb. Coincidentally, bad in English also has same connotation!

Though both mean the same I will not use them interchangeably. badnaseeb is a much more polite word

badbakht is also a slang word meaning rascal or evil. I won’t say badbakht to someone’s face. It is more like a gaali!!
