I think it woudnt be wrong saying that Afridi single handedly got us this cup. He really wanted to win it and you could see that by his attitude. Starting from his catch against NZ, that was the turning point. Then his innings and bowlling spell against SA and now in the final, he kept getting singles and doubles and didnt throw his wicket.
Adding to that I hated younis khan but now I just love him, he was always there for his team getting their moral up.
Fawad Alam was gr8 in fielding
Razzaq played his part and bowled very well specially in final
Umar gul’s bowling was so accurate, cannot ask for more
Kamram Akmal has come a long way. The way he batted through out the tournament was really some thing one would expect from an opener.
I think in todays victory Kamran has played a very vital role gave Pakistan a very good start by playing some magnificent shots. Reminds me of the great moin khan
Every one played well but Shahid Khan Afridi out classed every one, love you boom boom afridi, you are a real hero now
Afridi was excellent m’A, but he wouldn’t have been able to play as well as he did without the support he did get from the others. They played like a team, which is something we haven’t always seen with Pakistan but they did it today and they did it well. The performances that really stood out for me were Gul, Afridi (and Malik for supporting him so well in the semis & today), Ajmal, Akmal, Amir (man, hats off to this 17 year old) & Razzaq (especially today). Younus has been great as a captain and fielding-wise, and so has Fawad.
Salman Butt has also been lovely on the dugout bench along with Ahmed Shezad & Tanvir
