He should have been added like Sami was added. Bring back either Fawad Alam, Shoaib Malik or Faisal Iqbal and send Afridi. He could bat at No.3 and be the 5th bowler. He could still be part of the tour. It all depends on PCB. Before the announced the squad, it was in the news that only 15 member squad will be announced since its an away series, Australia will only pay for 15 people. Then they kept Shoaib Malik on Team Mgmt's request. Now they sent No. 17 on PCBs expense as well. So rather than having people carrying drinks and sub-fielders, send someone who has a legitimate chance of playing in the 11.
With the exclusion of Younis, now every Tom,Dick and Harry will makes moves too get the captaincy. Afridi has made no secret of his Captaincy desires, ever since Malik was appointed captain, he also made the same noises when Younis became the skipper, and now with Yousef.
I dont see Afridi fitting into the test side anyway. He is not good enough to be playing at the number 6 position in test matches anyway, and he cant bat at 7 as that would disturb the balance of the side.
There was a reason why they were not selecting him for test matches anyway which prompted him to retire. Afridi is best suited to ODI and T-20 cricket.

Bring back Misbah and Malik and send in Asim Kamal und Afridi for the Aussie tour
Watching the Test Series AUS vs. WI i certainly believe we r in a chance to atleast draw the series coz the Aussies attack apart from Johnsen is quite toothless to say the least
