I am remembering the words of Ahmed Rashid the author of Decent into Chaos & The Taliban … that US should work towards nation building.
I think US-led NATO contribute enough, definitely it will take much more time compare to Iraq because Afghanistan was already torn into pieces under Taliban and Russia-led governments.
But one thing is for sure, Pakistan policy towards Taliban’s did take at least 60 degree turn if not 90.
US/Pakistan/Iran/India/China/Russia/Saudi Arabia - must sit down and resolves their problems on table instead of using proxies !
