It has always been drag from an Indian side.

Whether, take a sea route, air-route, or road-route, you will find Pakistan b/w Afghanistan-India-Iran. :)

and still dreams of earning half a billion $s per year from pipelines.Dream on. Your loss is some one else's gain. Nothing is gonna stop.

^ What do you mean?

Name one, Rvikz!

Abdul, you dream on…dude :hehe:

Well that would be good. Atleast there would be some opening up. Iran,Afghanistan and Pakitistan are already members of ECo, however due to the turmoil in Afghanistan and due to the conflict of interest between Iran and Pakistan that regional organization has become to a large extent redundant. I concur with Abdali and PT here that Pakistan does come in the way :) or well Pakistan can be the cheapest and shortest trade route between these countries. (e.g: gas pipeline from Iran to India has to pass through Pakistan).

I recall reading that one of the members of ECO did raise this issue of accepting India as a member in this regional block. India cannot be a member coz Pakistan will oppose its induction, CHina cannot be a member of SARRC coz India will oppose its inclusion. We have failed miserably as far as the question of regionalization is concerned.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Afghanistan, Iran, India to develop new trade route

Sorry to shatter your pipe line dreams to India and earning millions of $s
as transit fees. Trade is a two way street & most Paki businessmen favour better ties. Iran & Afganistan will get these.

Keep shooting yourself in the foot Sweetie.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Afghanistan, Iran, India to develop new trade route

Abdul chanda,

Don’t act like kid. Whether pipeline goes to India or not, Pakistan will earn transit fee. Vajoo got some serious issue, oh boy. Btw, is he still haunted by Abu Suffyan Group? :hehe:

Pakistani Businessmen want Business, no doubt, favor better ties with Inida, no doubt. India gotta attitude problem, no doubt.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Afghanistan, Iran, India to develop new trade route

Mere Pyare Sher Khan,

How do you earn transit fees without actually transiting. Beats me, pls. explain.

India has given MFN satus and our exempted articles list is 15 times longer than yours, so where is the attitude problem, dear, here or there.

The moonlight of Knowledge is falling on your face & you are not gonna
get a bill for it. So take all you can while it lasts, My Cheery Pie.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Afghanistan, Iran, India to develop new trade route

I was referring to other pipeline.

No MFN status on Bilateral Issues.

Advice applies on you better.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Afghanistan, Iran, India to develop new trade route

Sure, am always a learner & will always be, I just look at you as a misguided lost Brother,Sheroo.

rvikz, can we play target practice with those indian cargo planes or what?

Isn`t it amazing, all this bickering about who is going to profit from supposed pipeline?

When the US went to Afghanistan,to take out the Taliban and OBL,all we heard on this forum was the accusation that the only reason they did it was for the oil pipeline. As usual they were all wrong, weren`t they?

Strange how its alright for Pakistan,Afghanistan and India,to profit of the opening up of Afghanistan but not the US who did all the work,oh,thats right they were doing it for their own benefit, those imperialist Yanks,as usual.
