Afghanistan, a different perspective

We only get to see the pictures and images of a war torn Afghanistan. I am sure there is a lot more to discover. The media only wants us to see only a certain picture of the beautiful country.. and the country side (for whatever reason). So here are a few images I found.

Hope you like them.

Great pictures, Gizzy! Love the Afghnai terrain. It's one of the most beautiful regions in the world as obvious from these pics. It's close to being heaven on earth. :)

:~)

Gizzy, do you know the names of those places by any chance..i would love to read more about them..thanks :)

Afghanistan is the best country. It is Pak's best friend and we owe them a lot. If East and West Germany can unite, y can't Pak and Afghan ?

We Owe them what..??? I think it’s the other way round..

:smack:

Whatttttttttttttttttttt…???

Excuse me but I think you are confused about India and Pakistan and Bangladesh…

SubhanAllah! Thanks for sharing :k:

The beautiful mosque is located in Mazar-e-Sharif or Herat.

And the green/brownish mountain range is the Hindu Kush Mountains located in North Eastern Afghanistan near Pakistan and Tajikistan border.

Also, the Panjshir Valley is located I think near or just below the Hindu Kush Mountains. This is also the birth place of the assassinated leader of the Northern Alliance(Ahmad Shah Masood) may Allah rest his soul in peace. Ameen!

beautiful! :k: this sure is a fresh perspective  Thanks

Jazakallahu Khayran.
