But fact is that Pushtoon groups were supported, and I have no problem with that.
But IMP from a purely tactical standpoint they should have just supported the Tadjiks and the Uzbeks and happily let them take power and end all this nonsense of a greater Afghanistan.
IMO now we should simply let the areas of Paksitan that are pro Pashtun independance go. Chances are this would only constutute the rural areas in the north anyhow. Not much of a loss and certainly not worth fighting and eternal battle with Afghans over.

If you are referring to 'give nwfp to afghanistan' philosophers, then DUH why would Pakistan support them, only India did back in the 70s.

That was my point genius, I just wasn't going to buy that pakistan did i out of love for pashtuns, I know they feared a backfire from them.

Pakistan doesnt fear those guys, they are nothing, they cant even run their own country without killing themselves, but in the process they were ruining our country too, so we had to fix their act

Sha shuja's bell has been silent for a long time now. However Afghan history is pretty fresh with a foreign army rule. I wonder when you guys would learn to have a truly "local" government. I guess you can't.
As soon as the current "imposed" rulers leave, you guys will get back to the business of cutting throats of Hazaras and Tajiks. Off course that will result in "another imposed" rule.
Some people will never learn.

BUddy this is coming from guy who forgets how long martial law has been in Pakistan, or how many foreign puppets pakistan has been blessed with. Sometimes you talk about pashtuns killing minorities or at others about tajiks and Dostum killing pashtuns, take a stand.

Oh Baboo Khan! you are comparing apples to oranges. In this world, you either lead, follow, or get out of the way. Sure Pakistanis follow USA.
The problem with Awghans is that they can't lead, or follow, or get out of the way. The result has been that they sit in the middle of the road like an Indian cow and get crushed by whoever is leading or following at that time.
Getting ruled by a foreign force is unique to tribals from many regions including Afghanistan, Middle East, and Africa.

Dear Parisian lady, there are plenty of opportunities to get rich right here in Pakistan. There are thousands of self made millionaires. In fact I feel we enjoy much better life style compared to folks living in USA or any big city in Europe. I could be wrong. But look at the situation, we can afford chauffer driven cars (a bit older and a bit smaller cars but decent ones). We can afford chefs to cook our food, and a fauj zafar mauj of servants to help us around the house.

ps, i’ve been to pak…my future husband lives there…so i know what you describe: slavery is very common there…you’ve just proved my point about helping poors to be poorer:(
