Afghan Taliban helping extremists in Pakistan: ISPR

Slowly but surely Pakistan army is owning up to this fact …

Afghan Taliban helping extremists in Pakistan: ISPR

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army said on Tuesday the extremists in Pakistan are getting support from Afghan Taliban.

The director general of Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR), Major General Athar Abbas said that Afghan militants were supplying arms to Pakistani militants lined up against the security forces.

Athar said the insurgency could be effectively countered by cutting the supply routes being used by these militants. He said the PAF has been requisitioned to hit high value targets in conflict zone.

Re: Afghan Taliban helping extremists in Pakistan: ISPR

There goes another right wing theory of afghan taliban = good, TTP = less good.

so the news is that one gun totting bearded militant fighting to implement totalitarian delusions by force has sympathy for his twin a couple of hundred miles away ?

can it be true ?

Either you did not read the news .... or you dont want to believe what you are reading ..... it is not a matter of "sympathy" .... the article claims that Pakistan army is saying that these Pakistani Talibans are getting arms (hope you will not mix this with body part !!!!) from their Afghani bretheren !!!!!!

Re: Afghan Taliban helping extremists in Pakistan: ISPR

americans r cleverly shifting war into pak..they r not giving any kind of resistance to taliban as 70% of afghanistan is under over control...
i believe isi should have a clear idea who is our enemy..and afghan taliban as a whole is not our enemy..nrothern alliance, india, iran russia, israel etc r creating problems...their agencies r running training camps in afghanistan..

we have no other option but to support afghan taliban..otherwise northern alliance indians etc will keep our army fighting for 20 years...i believe afghan taliban is just a term used by ispr spokesman...each and every person in our army and intelligence know tht americans and pak r playing double game with each other....

if they send arms or legs or blow kisses in the wind.

Af Taliban is the same as TTP, I dont buy these shades of differences theory.

(so material help or help in fighting was always inevitable: maybe even ever-existent)

REALITY - Taliban are desperately shifting war into Pakistan while running away from Americans

MYTH #1 - American are asking Taliban to shift war into Pakistan
MYTH #2 - Americans are wearing shalwar kameez, growing beards while capturing FATA + swat and the same americans are blowing up girls schools.

MYTH #3 - Americans want to capture FATA

Some people just want to believe in MYTHS.

And I was thinking that Taliban in Pak was getting support from India :frowning:

yep and yep

Re: Afghan Taliban helping extremists in Pakistan: ISPR

You know, I don't really care what is going on in Afghanistan. What do Northern Alliance and the Afghan Taliban have to do with Pakistanis anyway? Nothing. Their ideas, their goals, their ways of thinking are completely separate. I say do this China style - build a great wall between the countries and shoot anyone that tries to cross the border. Trade with Afghanistan has to be boycotted completely at this point. Because Karzai cannot deal with his own problems, we have to pay? My relatives have to pay? The beautiful children of Swat have to pay?

In the words of a great beautiful African American woman at my local McDonalds: "Uh, uh, no you dinnit!"

Re: Afghan Taliban helping extremists in Pakistan: ISPR

this statement, atleast in part, is likely linked to pakistans ascertion that more needs to be done in afghanistan.

You watch hell of a TV peep. One simple question and please answer it with a counter productive argument not to do any cha cha; why Americans and their allies are limited to (some part of) Kabul only, While Talibans have got safe havens in the rest of Afghanistan?

Well, again the confirmation you watch hell of a TV.
The Americans seem to be lurching from one crisis to the other in the Khyber Pass. Like a drunken sailor it runs from pillar to post without a vision or roadmap and blame the failure on Pakistan and the one you are calling Myths is actually the case with Pakistan but since we have retard thinkers like you we don't need enemies from the outside and I call your kind of retards, Educated-Talibans because in their vision and thinking, there is not much of a difference with any ordinary Taliban.

But wait, I thought the afghan 'original' talibs were the good guys according to you, so how come the other good guys (pak army) are accusing them of being bad guys. I hope thats simple enough to comprehend.

EVERYTHING. This claim comes from the ISPR, do you know what the ISPR is?

You have got to be kidding me. Even if it is seperate, does that stop anyone from meddling in the affairs of another country with an open border?

Remember the big bad fauji bawa who ruled for 10 years and couldnt do this? How do you expect to build a deewar there, if you go there and look at the terrain, its impossible to make such a deewar to keep them out.

Sure, ever heard of something calling smuggling?

Haye, for the last ten years there was no concern when people were paying, just because the leader in power was supposedly the one you supported.

Let me use your own analogy, your local african american woman at your fav restaurant joint has absolutely nothing to do with Pakistan or Afgahnistan, and they’re way of life is totally seperate. :hehe:

i give dam to whether talibans r good or not...but i do know talibans r better then northern alliance or hamid karzai for pakistan and it is very evident..
as i said tht afghan taliban term is being used just as a formality to show the world tht we r not supporting afghan talibans beac western media keep on blaming us for supporting talibans..by the way do u know y we neva did any serious assault on haqqani gorup in fata?..or mullah nazir group?..and y americans dont attack on bait ullah gang?
