well i dont really think it,s funny. I know most westren country things that the new government have put ristrictions on women. They have their reasons to . Think about what is happning with women in the western wourld? men dont have any respect for them. They are treated like dirt. They get rapt, pregnent into drugs and whole alot of things.
what the afghan society dont want is to copy from the west. Afghani women are mashallh clean and respecful.Any way what is such big deal about exposing your self? so u can look nice to the men? Big deal!!!!!!
im personaly not afghan but i like what they are doing.

Alia 95, you are right...I think it's tragic rather that our own people ridicule us...I'm a pukhtoon and I believe that a woman can look beautiful for her husband only, noy the entire society like it HERE is in the West...I see the differance...

Thank You. NGABRAT, I think people like u should be good example for some weak muslims.I agree about what said that women should only look nice for there husbend. Im also pushtoon and living in the westren society from the last 15 years, so i can see the influence westren socity have put on most muslims.

I'm so sick and tired of narrow minded individuals like some of you here, always blaming the west for everything, saying all the women in the west are whores, all the white people are evil, I'm so sick of it!!!

If you hate the west so much, please leave, don't stay in the United States and constantly put it down. Don't bite the hand that feeds you, some of you are here for one reason or another, and then say that the west is bad, the women here are whores, everyone is ignorant and infidels, then go back to your pukhtoon villages and live there, please, we don't want you here if all you can do is put the west down.

And as far as purity, my ignorant friends, a lot goes on in your land of the pure that you are not aware of, Alia, women are raped in your land as well, they are degraded in your land as well, there's incest in your land as well, father's raping daughters, brothers raping sisters, but the only difference is that here, in the west, these crimes are brought to light so something can be done about it, unlike in YOUR land of the pure, where these things are never mentioned, rarely reported, and go unpunished, so the women there continue to remain oppressed and raped.

Please don't bother coming back with your usual arguments of saying that I'm a puppet of the west etc, because that nonsense just doesn't fly anymore, if you have any VALID points, please respond.
