**The Afghan parliament has rejected President Hamid Karzai’s nominee for Justice Minister, Sarwar Danish.**Mr Danish was one of a number of ministers Mr Karzai had sought to reappoint to his cabinet following the disputed election of August 2009.
However, other key nominees - including Defence Minister Abdul Rahim Wardak -were endorsed by parliament.
Two ministers accused of corruption lost their posts. No-one has been nominated foreign minister so far.
Mr Karzai presented his new cabinet to parliament two weeks ago.
