Aeroplan

How often have you guppies actually redeemed any mileage off of Air Canada’s Aeroplan? Emirates has Skywards, every airline seems to have their own little membership thingy. But has anyone actually flown for free somewhere, based solely upon these membership frequent-flyer points?

Or is it just another additional card to stick in your wallet and give your personal information out to huge corporations so they can flood you with useless advertising garbage? :halo:

dunno bout guppies, but my cuzin has used 'em...he accumulated enuf to get 2 return air tickets to NY and back :)

i know ppl who avail frequent flyer miles n travel free from one us city to another

i made abt 10 round trips to pak from the us in 5 yrs but never had the akalamandi to do this frequent flyers thing :smack: its a great benefit tho, i think u shud go for it nadia

My cousin travels a lot and consumed his airline miles for his ticket to Dubai. My brother can easily get his returned ticket to Pakistan from his Airmiles reward miles program. He uses his Airmile card for all the business transactions like united parcel Service and few other suppliers... My other friend also said that his next ticket to England would be free…:)

Well I've used FF miles several times and on occasion also gifted some to others. Have used FF miles across the atlantic, within europe and to the subcontinent. Usually need to book well in advance to get the dates/flights you want, pay the taxes and off you go. If you change plans usually there is a dedcution in the miles credited back to your account. Don't let FF miles expire, much better to give to charity (I think Aeroplan has this option) or to a relative / friend.
Bon Voyage!

Informative. Thank you, everyone, for your responses. :flower1: Yes Irem, Insha’Allah i will try it out. i was kindof uncertain about it, but there’s no harm in going for it i guess eh.

Thank you Desimunda, Irem, Amir, and Awam ki Awaz.
