yay i say go for it ziggy
but i think a bright color binding to the edges (emearld green, red or magenta binding will make it look so much regal and more bridal like

I've seen this dress in person, and trust me its worth the price (although her prices are generally sky high). Shes amazing with white though, she always wears white herself all the time

^ Agreed - her prices are generally sky high. I went to her studio not so long ago, but didn't see this outfit. Do you have any idea how much it costs?

Her gowns cost 11 lacs:P you really want to know how much her bridals cost?:P
But I know her lightest bridals start from 3 lacs

I have never seen anyone wearing an Ayesha Varsey bridal though...its always Karma or HSY and probably Nomi Ansari and Omar Sayeed at times; But mostly its the first two.

That off white one? I think it looks beautiful! Only thing is (and this might be because the rest of her wasn't dressed like a bride) that it seems a tad simple for a bridal.

^ agreed - although I want to wear it at someone's wedding and would probably use the shirt and duppata only from the original.

Then the Gown Sana wore at her wedding which is quite famous, we've seen so many brides here wearing something similar, and Nadia Khan also wore that gown is for 11 Lacs? isn't it too much? I thought it would be around 3-4 Lacs? Within this price range, one can have a Breath Taking Omar Sayeed Bridal!!!

wow are her bridals really that expensive? :O
I remember going into her boutique once 2 years ago, but can't recall the prices anymore. She does have some beautiful outfits though. Does she have a website?

Yep, the lady is mega expensive.

She was working on getting a website out, but never finished it. Maybe she doesn't need it; I hear she gets plenty of business anyway...

Hi Ziggy,

A friend got an Aysha Varsey bridal for her wedding day..cost her about $2400. IMO it wasn't all that. Although the outfit you posted it gorgeous..

My friend had cream and dull maroon combination...it totally did not stand out and washed the bride out...

I guess it also depends on the person who is getting the outfit done and what they like..

Personally I think it wasn't worth the price tag...

Yeah, her outfits can be a bit of a hit or miss. My Cousin got her Bridal made by her; It was in Magenta, with her signature work on the duppata, and I didn't like it one bit. The fit was really unflattering and she decided to make her some sort of dhaka Pyjama with the long shirt, which seemed very odd when she finally got the outfit. On the other hand, her elder sister got her engagement outfit from her and it was stunning, so iI guess it can go either way.

I hear though that the fabrics she uses are really cheap...
