ok, well i applied for a job in haematology and hadnt heard anything for ages so i took one in immunology, after a week working there i resigned coz it just wasnt for me. now ive got an interview on thursday for the job i wanted. how shall i tell them i left my job without sounding unreliable. shall i even tell them about it?
help pleasee
Re: advice!
u only worked there for a week! def dont even mention it - no need its not like u will have a gaping hole in ur cv
Re: advice!
no need to mention that.
Re: advice!
technically they dont know about the job coz i filled in the application form for it way before i started the job
it does show ive got some experience...ahh im so confused
obviously i have to tell them if they ask me, how shall i say it so it sounds good?
Re: advice!
I'd also say not mention anything about it... plus a week isn't really much of experience afterall. However, that being said, that one week has at least told you what you're not interested in and that's a good thing. You can somehow relate that experience as a positive attribute towards your focus... perhaps you can put a twist and say something like you've vounteered in other positions as well including XYZ and only after that have you made up your mind to pursue your current interests.
Re: advice!
yeh i was thinking of that! thanks thats a good plan :)
