i am currently working on a navy cotton suit with collars and am thinking of doing cream embroidery work on it what do you thing guys shall i do cream or red? what other colours work well with navy??
Navy blue and turquoise look nice, I've seen navy blue and burgundy as well..

Burgundy and Turquoise wont stand out on Navy Blue Background Gina~ 
Turquoise wud look gorgeous with navy blue.. and a berry/burgundy wud also look spectacular with a royal blue outfit.. blue paired with cream/silver have been exhausted now.. rich royal colors look really nice.. an emerald green wud also look great!

Navy blue with pink (can go for shell pink+silver) n crème looks lovely
With peachy orange/ coral
Navy blue also goes well with steel blue n yellow
Then navy blue n crisp white with dull orange n green
I might be confusing u, but I liked the combos tht Gina told u, as I love dark color combos.

Like turquoise sky blue will also work well as any lighter shade of blue is a lovely contrast to the navy.
Lime green will also look pretty.
