I have a Pakistani passport and I currently live in Canada. I have permanent residency in Canada, but no Canadian passport. I need to travel urgently to INDIA in MAY. I have contacted the embassy of India but they were no help, because they said it will take atleast 6 months to get an Indian Visa.
Anyone have ANY suggestions or advice for me to be able to take this trip??

Try Indian Embassy in Pakistan. FedEx in Karachi deals with Indian visa services.

They can get me an Indian Visa and deliver it to me in Canada?

niz_b, no. You are a Canadian resident it would be better if u apply in Canada. You can apply in Pakistan but u have to be in Pakistan. If u apply in person in Pakistan with all the complete documentation then it will take from two weeks to a month.
