Re: Advice for first time parents???
we had this and it was not a problem at all- its designed to be an on-bed co-sleeper and it was a lifesaver for us, to be honest. after my C, i just didn’t have the energy to do more than rollover, grab him and feed him.

also, here’s something very important- both you and your husband CANNOT be zombies at the same time. you will have to work in shifts. what worked best for us was hubby sleeping separately since he still had to continue going to work during the day while i was on mat leave. he sleeps in the nursery, i sleep with the baby in our bed. this way, i do nights, he does early mornings, goes to work and then comes home and takes over for a few hours so i can get some sleep. otherwise, both of us would be up together every two hours when he was a newborn and we’d both be exhausted by the time morning rolled around.
