does anyone have any type of resources they are willing to share (especially of anyone in Pak) ? through which someone can adopt a child or two?
I am asking because going the traditional route is 1- too expensive, and 2- way too many legal battles and nonsense to adopt.
I have heard of people being able to go to Pak and bringing back a child, either through a couple who wasn't able to afford said child, or due to other reason they had to give up
And no, Eidhi foundation is not an option. I'm talking more of, ghar ki baat type thing
Our search algorithm here on GS is soo effed up and thats the worse thing that has happened recently. Otherwise we had tons of knowledgeable threads on adoption.

You heard people just plucking a baby from somewhere in Pak and bringing him with them like nothing? Where did you hear it or did you actually talk to those parents?
Guardianship or adopting a child who would then be migrating out of country will have to go through all necessary legal hoops of international adoption process required by the destination country, no matter whether it’s just ghar ki baat or formal adoption, there is no way around it. A bit of commonsense would help before declaring it nonsense, otherwise there would be no difference between adoption and human trafficking.
Even in Pakistan, you’d have to present tons of paperwork to prove legal guardianship just to get the passport of the adopted child.
Guess what! As being the President and the VIP member of People-with-no-life club, I was working on some other stuff this weekend and was online so also worked with Azkar to get the search index rebuilt (as some of you might have seen the notice on top temporarily).
Anyhow, the results are better now. May not be 100% but not that terribly terrible.
