My bro set up Adobe Photoshop on the comp, without my supervision. and as a consequence, when you click on an image or an acrobat document, it opens up photoshop. I can’t find out the thing to set the presets or whatever back to whatever i want. Or remember the keyword so i could look it up on help or something. so could you guys tell me how to do it?

right click on the image,
left click properties,
click on Change
then select acrobat from the list and save it
make sure you tick the box where it says always use the selected program to open this kinda file

Use Windows Explorer. Go to a Adobe file. Right click. Select "Open With.." option. It will show a few software title and the option "Choose Program". Select "Choose Program", and a pop-up window will open that will show all the software in your computer. Select the software with which you want to open the file in the future. Make sure the check box at the bottom is clicked. Select "Ok". Viola!
