Adobe Acrobat takes ages to load?

Annoyed by frequently having to wait 10-20 seconds for the application to load when all you want to do was view a single page? Here’s how to do it:

Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0(or whatever version)\Reader

Move all files from the plug_ins folder to the optional folder. (Cut and Paste).

You’re done. It loads now like a notepad…!!!

neat tip..

works great for local pdf documents but i'm having problems opening up pdfs on websites.. the plugins might afterall be needed for that.. so reluctantly i have to move the stuff back..

Thats why I use acrobat reader for reading pdf's and Acrobat for editing.
