there's a thing called royalty :-) you being the writer of a song get to have certain percentage of the earnings whenever your song is played or re-recorded for re-release and more sales :-)

it doesn't matter where his physical location is.....he still is a good singer no matter where he sings from pakistan or india....I dont think his songs are targeted just for indian listeners only....

I read a report in a nespaper in which Adnan Sami , when called out to speak in some star ceremony, reportedly said Let me make one thing clear which is often being confused that i dont like Pakistan. Pakistan is a country which has given me fame, izzat and my talent. I will try to find out the online link but if thats true, thats awesome of him and a complete U-turn from what we heard. By the way, the newaspaper was Nawa--e-waqt, a very respected one.
