u can get into any degree program u want, its not like pakistan that nly pre engineering go to engineering uni and pre med go to medical college etc.
admission requirements vary by university, for foriegn students you have to show command of english, it used to be TOEFL, i think that is still the case. you will need recommendation letters, affidavit of support plus financial statements.
major and minor is very simple,
you can go for a bachelors degree in computer science and a minor in sociology, all it means is that you have taken a certain number of courses and met certain requirements to have a minor concentration.
you do have BBA degrees in some universities, more often though yoiu will have a BS degree, which is Bachelors of Science- major in Finance fo example, or major in computer science, you have bachelor of science in engineeing, or bachelors of engineering.
BUt dont get too hung up on whether it says BBA or BS in business.
You can take the SAT or ACT but will need the TOEFL. As X2 mentioned about the financial statements, you should consider whether you are selecting a public or private university (private tend to be more expensive). Other considerations include the location, job prospects, faculty expertise, and your interests.
At the very least, try to review the website of the university before you make a decision. Ideally, you should visit in person and get a sense of how things are at the prospective school. All the best!
X2 and pak-one have given good advice. TOEFL is still required.
As pak-one mentioned, check out websites of differnt colleges…is there a certain region you are looking at?
i need more information like in pak if u wana graduate u need 60% iwth maths or 4 bs in A level etc for bs in computers...
what is us uni requirments for bs level i mean marks etc specially whne u are holding a pakistani degress of intermidiate .specially uni's in newyork like ny uni etc
and what extra benefits he or she has for admission if he or she is a us citizen wife or husban d and getting green card soon
I would suggest you get in touch with one of the admissions advisors and ask about the average or the range of the scores that are admitted in various Universities.
