My wife use “aap” “aaeen” “suneeen” “sunyeee” in front of kids and elder relatives (including my and her parents) but in friends it turns to “tum” and “aoo” and in private it turs to “tu” and “idher aa” (and what not) . I dont mind it, in fact I enjoy/like it.
we are classic example of
aap say…phir tum howey…phir tu ka unwaan ho gaeey
rafta rafta wo mairee, hastee ka samaan hoo gaeey
btw, question!!! Ager yee “tum” itna hee friendly hai then why dont we call our parents idher aoo, tum jaoo etc?
