So i’m running a inventory app (php/sql) on a dedicated server. It is kinda under utilized, so I was thinking what else can I add to it, so that people actually use it at work. I just downloaded a php pdf maker app. Any other ideas?
I was thinking something like a knowledge base thing, where I can upload documents. SOmethign very basic. Like adding steps to migrate from a IMAP server to a Exchange account. Etc. Based on topic. I don’t realy care about user access for this stuff.
You can setup a forums part and or a wiki where people can share ideas/tit-bits, or a classifieds. Knowledge base is good too, maybe you can setup a trouble ticket system and over time that can be used as a knowledge base as well.

Tofi, this is the 2nd time you mentioned WIKI. Lets set this up? How bout we test it out first on digialGujjar's distro thingamajigger? Then we can plan on a dedicated host or something?
Wikis are getting very popular. I have one setup for myself, ya know a very personal kind. Its a pretty cool thing where anyone can come and put in info, like the Wikipedia project. Talk about free flow of information.
