We usually have the separate tea at home.But sometimes,especially in winters,I make it by adding equal parts of water and milk to a sauce pan with 2 teabags and 4 green cardamoms and let it simmer for a while.It gives it such a nice aroma and taste.
same as above, but i do add dalchini to it too and a pinch of salt
Since we moved to india we had, masala chai, adrak wali chali, cinnamon wali chai, clove cinammon wali chai, tulsi(basil) wali chai, saunff wali chai, these are all black teas with milk. Also had green tea like kehva, green tea with rose patels, with dried lemeon peel, with adrak, and with dried jasmine. I have become pro at making chai( in last 6-8 months, I opened a thread requesting how to make good tea), ppl come over esp for my green teas...
