I see most, if not all, people are very particular about the additions in their family (dils/sils). The boys side would want pretty bahus and the girls side wants the educated (doc/engineer :halo:) guys as their damads.
But we don’t always get what we want and at times people even delay their child’s marriage because they can’t find someone as good as they were able to find for their other child. Which ofcourse is not right because we def should try to find the best match possible but at the end of the day everyone has a diff kismet and we can’t fight it. Not every girl can get a doc/engineer (NOT EVERY NON-DOC/ENGINEER IS NOT EDUCATED EITHER!!!) and not every boy can get a pretty girl (NOT EVERY NON-KATRINA/ASH LOOKING GIRL IS NOT PRETTY!!!).
So coming back to the original question, how has the additions in your family been so far :D? I think this is quite a funny yet an interesting question if you take it that way :khums:. So Shoot!
Haven't had any addition yet. Since the first addition will be through me, so I will be the trend setter. Still waiting ;)
And i wl be the last so all pressure on me to make it a good ending, hahahahah! just joking!

It's been OK, not exactly what the family wanted but they got to live with it.
Oh. I guess not getting exactly what you want is OK but it should not be about living with it. How about acceptance? unless ofcourse there is not much to work with.
In our family we had 3 additions…
pehley mumani…and we loved herrrrrrrrrr…
later subse barey cousin bhai ki wife…bhabi…and she is like teh awesomest lady everrrr…
later 2nd cousin bhai ki wife…bhabi…she is nice too…
Since we have one daughter only she wants addition of a sister to family but my wife does not like it, she says I am done with new addition to our choti see family.
the additons were pretty good…
