does anyone know any shop here in Dubai/ Sharjah or any person who does kaam on the fabric…???
its soo hard to find nice clothes with nice kaam on the gala of the dress…
like the ones u get in pk…
Behind old sharjah cinema.. there are lots of "kaam-wala's" that have patterns on transfer sheets.. u just select the "kaam" and give u're colors.

cus i mostly do my clothes shopping from there....Diba khan,Riaz Khan, Saajan etc.....but no kaam walas.....can u tell me where exactly can I find them?

Hi Princess Ok theres a bloke - pakistani in Satwa- i dont have a number for him but I know of his location ( albeit a tricky one!) he does kaam wala haath and when my sis was out here from the Uk she had some dimante and kaam wala stuff done for her daughter- he was expensive but did a very good job- sorry I cant be of more help!! Mina bazaar in Bur Duabi has loads of kaam wale- it would be a job of searching on foot with ur stuff!!
Yes, if u go towards the back of Viva.. there's a mosque.. u'll see lots of "kaam-wala's" in that area..

cus what i can recall is that there are lots of accessories and dress materials shops.....are these tailoring shops which do kaam as well???
or are there like proper shops that do embroidery and stuff?

AD kabhi muje saath le jaana- actually today an Emirati told me of Abu Hail centre- its a place full of abayas and shelas for good prices!!! Have u been ??? In Sharjah it is

Yes I have been to abu hail. why do you want abaya or something? :S sure.. will take u to meena bazaar...
naif souk has soo many abaya shops and tailors and they stitch abayas for a really good price! i always get mine from there

Ill be taking them as pressies for my sisters and bhabhis!!!! when my sis was out her for a hol- we went to meena bazaar EVERDAY to get her suits and stuff done- Once we wentto Naif souk - would live to go again to get stuff made!!

have u tried that aloo chaat bhel puri etc from the indian restaurant in meena bazaar?

hey nadia .. I do know many shops but the thing is.. i cannot actually write it down for u.. it's one of those things that is hard to explain and is better if the person is with u.. my mam knows many.. in the morning i will ask her and tell u

I dont go to any specific shop Nadia, I find a "kaam" sample according to my material and outfit.. and go with that shop :) No they're exclusively embroidery shops..

u mean gina u choose ur kaam there in shop or u take a picture, or sample with u to show to them??
I do both.. if I see something I like in a magazine I take it along.
