Re: addicted

no one want to solve my health issue. :naraz:

Re: addicted

get tested dude…its not rocket science

Re: addicted

Yep you might be diabetic , get tested.
This is one of the symptoms that you crave for mitha-e

Re: addicted

^ either that or you're pregnant.

Re: addicted

i kid i kid!! sorry no offense meant. Craving sugar doesn't necessarily mean you are a diabetic. You say you're addicted to the mithai that you got last week. Maybe it was just super delicious that you can't resist.

If you are really stressing then ..get a blood sugar test.

Re: addicted

but if have sugar then my life become hell.

how could i deal with it?

Re: addicted

If you knew that the mithaai would kill you, you would have no problem foregoing it, would you?

Too much sugar can give you diabetes, but it takes a long time. Immediately, it will give you pimples, yeast infections, mood swings, and pretty quickly it will rot your teeth.

I have also read that taking vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) can reduce sugar cravings, but I have not tested this personally.

If this is a big recent change -- you say you never were into sweets before -- then that is something that a proper homeopathic doctor can fix. Find a homeopath.

Re: addicted

ok.

Re: addicted

Your life will be hell if you do not get tested and khuda na khuasta you have it. It is known as silent killer . If you get tested and you do not have it that is all well and good. But if have it then you can manage it and live a happy healthy long life with diabetes. I was diagnosed with it 12 years ago and Alhumdulillh it had been under control.

If someone in your immediate family had it there are more chances of you getting it. So better safe than sorry.

Re: addicted

will test it.

Re: addicted

blue is right...this doesn't mean STA has diabetes but if it makes him feel better he can get it checked. I love sweets, always have and I don't have diabetes Alhamdulilah.

Re: addicted

Ummm, I hate to say it but: yet. You don't have diabetes YET. Be very moderate in your intake of sweets.

Re: addicted

throw them out and never buy them again.

Re: addicted

Don't sweat it...I am a nutritionist. I know whats a modest intake of sweets and whats going over board. I was trying to say that just because one likes sweets doesn't mean they have diabetes. A lot of people have a sweet tooth.

Re: addicted

I just realized that i am not addicted to it anymore, as soon as mithai was finished I am no longer in love with sweets. it was delicious therefore i was thinking about it day and night.

Re: addicted

You're a nutritionist? That's very cool! I thought about retraining to do that, but it was going to require way more years of education than I wanted to spend. Nutrition is SO IMPORTANT!!

Re: addicted

Absolutely nutrition is really important and can make a huge impact on treatment, recovery or prevention of many diseases. I went to school for 4 years and did my BSc in nutrition. I would like to become a dietitian because that way I will have a legislated designation. The term nutritionist can be used by anyone (yea sad) in Canada.

Re: addicted

i have a terrible terriblee sweet tooth too....:D
i drink green tea after meals just to satisfy myself!i just had nandooz ka choco cake slice and green tea along...thinking the cake wont effect me much now:P

n sugar cravings are not related with you having diabetes :)
but do get those teeth checked ;)
