If you don’t know already, google has finally released (in beta) the ‘Google Calendar’ site. More details at http://calendar.google.com
One good feature of Google Calendar is that you can create or ‘subscribe’ to multiple public or semi-public calendars, that then show up in your calendar view.
I searched for a Cricket calendar and found a half-baked one. It has the international cricket matches, but not with times. I have added this one to my calendar anyway (see screenshot below) but hope that CricInfo or some volunteer (not me) will create and maintain a World Cricket Calendar, (or Pakistan Cricket at least). As long as the creater specifies the start-end times in his own timezone, they’ll get automatically translated and accurately reflected in our calendar views. Isn’t that sweet? No more painful decoding of CrickInfo’s GMT schedule (and then wondering how many more hours till 4:30 GMT).
