Acupuncture experiences?

Just wondering what Acupuncture is all about. I have heard of the term, and know that it involves sticking needles into ppl.

Have any of you ever experienced it?

Know any thing deep about it?

Its an ancient chinese medical thing... haan very thin, sterile needles are used and then inserted into the skin, I don't know how deep they go. Acupuncture is very good for people with back pain and hardess and other things also. The method is painless and no blood comes out.

No, I have not experieced it as yet.

Tried it ages ago and it did the job back then.

I have read that accupressure give similar benefits for those who don’t like the idea of having needles placed into your body.

My old workplace used to hand out acupuncture sessions to ex drug adicts as part of their treatment cuz it used to help them relax. I know most of them used to come out feeling really chilled and at one with the world, but the feeling wore off quite quickly.

A friend once had a few sessions for her headaches, and she said the same thing that my clients did (that the acupuncture works well for a few hours, but the results soon wear off).
