tabassum is really a under rated actress, she has phenominal ability and chandni bar + astitva back this theory up. only her co-stars and some director's realize that though, rest of bollywood is still sleeping over this fact!!!
all the best too her, both of her films in 04' meenaxi - a tale of 3 cities and maqbool look gr8 and have catchy songs, very nice lyrics + tabassum ji will be more bolder in meenaxi especially, in comparison to any of her other films she has wprked in till date
i saw maqbool a while ago. it's tragic (being an adaptation of Macbeth and all), good actors, good plot, patched together real well by vishal bharadwaj. i'd give it a 8.5/10 .
hey munia this is reply for the "Saif's " thread (since that is closed now). His sisters name is "Soha Ali Khan"

ya i have some ik' to add to as baba g closed that thread. saif is going to help lauch her sister soha in the mumbai film industry.
2condly, a point for correction muniya sharmila tagore DID convert/revert to islam before her marriage to ex cricketer mansoor ali khan {nawab of pataud}. sharmila tagore took the name ayesha sultana before her marriage to the ex cricketer.

Thnks for the info.
Thats a news for me. I didnt know that.
they make one of the best celeb couple.
I've watched Meenaxi and really enjoyed it. The latter half was confusing and boring but the parts shot in India were just awesome! Santosh Sivan deserves a whole lot of credit for making the movie look GORGEOUS!
Of course the movie is very abstract and thus confusing at times! So don't watch it expecting a typical bollywood story.
