LOVED FOR THE WONDERFUL PERSON SHE IS BY MANY COUNTS---ALSO, NOW, HIGHLY PROACTIVE AS THE PRODUCER & DIRECTOR ON A LIMITED SCALE THAT HER ACTING HAS WON HER MANY LAURELS.

parveen is a good actress...though its boring to see the repetition of her acting style but still she is a good actress.
ok i never knew that she started in 1969...i came to know her via geo tv drama shammo...i mean i have seen sooo many old pak dramas but never saw her in any of them....
arjay - I read from your other posts tha you are actively working in drama serials? May I ask who you are - or is that not to be disclosed?
As for Parveen Akbar - her roles may be of 'hate' charachters, but the superb way in which she portrays them is unique....she is my most favourite actress by far.
Ive seen her in a few roles where she looks quite youthful.
I think she is stunningly beautiful also!!!

^ he is called raju jameel.....he has worked in several dramas from old to new ones...hmmm he was in unkahi as that guy who comes for mariam's rishta but sana/timmy etc creates problems for him since they dont want him to get married to sana...if u have seen unkahi u will know who mr arjay is.....apart from unkahi he has been in several dramas like phir youn love hua.......

As long as I am entertained via the medium of DRAMAS the me & my wife are happy!

Parveen Akbar is one if Pakistan's best actresses of all time. Watch drama serial 'Aashti' in which she played bengali mother and a house worker. Although the whole cast acted well, but the way she has walked n talked in bengali accent was top notch. Also she has acted in numerous sindhi plays of PTV. She is brilliant in another character role where she plays mother to shabbir jaan and there was one scene where she has completely ruled over the whole cast n episode. She deserves many awards for her services n various roles. Simply superb. Hats off to her. From Shani (UK).
