Here is a link to a petition-on-lineabout officially recognizing “halal” food by the Government and the food industry. It
also asks for establishing a symbol or trademark for easy identification of “halal” food and as an assurance of its authentication according to tenets of Islam.

I have signed it. If you agree with it you may sign it. Also, if you consider it appropriate please pass it on to others on
your mailing list.
