The Government of Asif Zardari hardly any day goes by when does not announce that its only motive for coming in power was the betterment of the common man and to provide relief. The actions speak loud than words. Is there even a single any real practical step taken to achieve this? Certainly not. Fuel price just for a show if has been reduced simultaneously same moment with same tongue diesel price was increase. This government is doing same what the previous governments had all along been doing. Present policies are the same namely to one action which is only keep raising slogans and opening big mouth. The very first action of this government was as of a looter. From an illegal marriage how can the child born can be legal then? The prime minister who daily issues such statements as if for the last two days he and his family has not taken a meal because “atta” is not available to thousands in every city, even before taking oath and becoming a legal prime minister used the full plane free of cost for attending his son marriage which was a prime occasion. Musharraf is accused to travelling to US for inauguration of his book. Though as a looter he did so, yet he camouflaged it under the name of official visit and at least did some official work there. But the present looter showed himself as a pure looter by using the national plane just for a family affair. General Musharraf is accused of taking plane loads of favourite people and their wives with him on tours. At least these favourites used to be high government official who though minimal but participated in official talks abroad. The president Prime minister on tour to USA even took his sons, children’s in laws with them. On return journey on knowing there was a special discount sale in London’s very famous Stores and unscheduled stop over was made in London facilitating his family to do shopping. The present government has increased electricity rate by 31% in the name of withdrawing subsidy. Agreed under international pressure withdrawing it was not avoidable nevertheless if the government was even remotest honest instead of increasing rate it could had taken some other steps. Like: Swiss Court on the request of Pakistan Government has closed the corruption case. The Swiss Judge said he was surprised as sufficient evidence was available in the record. On withdrawal of the case when issue was raised from where Asif Zardari got this huge 6 million dollars, he stated this money was not his. The Swiss account are famous for their secrecy and to ensure secrecy these are opened in fictitious or secret adopted names or in code names. This strict secrecy system was created to attract huge deposits from all over the world from looters, smugglers, mafias. It is generally believed in these account despot is always black money. Technically speaking the account is not in the name of Asif Zardari hence he can plainly say the money is not his meaning of Asif Zardari. Even if it is accepted for a while, the fact can not be denied that it is Pakistani money. Hence had this government been any honest by now it must had officially asked the Swiss Government that since accused AZ refutes that money belonged to him hence this money be returned to Pakistan as it belong to it. The day the President addressed the assembly, at Iftiar the “elite-poor” were given “free Iftar” with “Kookars”. All these “cookar” eaters were “poor”. Had the PM any remotest shame and respect to his own words, he would had with same money arrange providing food to drivers, security guards at Marriot hotel knowing well their while their bosses were enjoying inside Marriot these poor drivers would he hungry. The government would had given some electricity relief from this money. The Prime Minister at his end would had announced that it would pay back the charges of the official plane used by him privately for marriage of his son and proportionate fare for his children and their in-laws for passing that as some relief to 31% electricity increase effectees. But words are words and from PPP never a good can be accepted.
