That depends, on a few things, namely whats in the pipe, also what you consider to be addictive, and harmful.
I think its not okay, cause not only does it harm you, but it harms those around you.

In the pipe will be tobacco (no nicotine). I don't think it is addictive, maybe some other pipe smoker can enlighten me? It might be somewhat harmful, but so is too much sun or foul air! GDQ, you still believe it is a no-no?

Holding a suspected person for questioning or while an investigation is in progress is done by ALL countries, not just USA.
The law might differ from country to country about how long such a person may be held before formally charged.
Then they should start bombarding the States as well as Israel...they have less evidence that some of their own ppl worked with terrorists, therefor they are terrorists too. Dont you think?

I wouldn't know if it is true or not but I do not like the "jury" system they use.

documentary film about America's Intelligence. There they interviewed some former Agents and these ppl ensured that CIA had its hand in recent WTC incident.
