I don’t have acne but i do get the occasional break out some time and when i do it’s usually when i don’t want them lol…i used to use the clean n clear spot treatment it worked really well before but the last few time i have used it i’ve noticed it doesn’t seem to be working the same as it used to. Does anyone else here use an acne spot treatment? Is there any that works really well that someone could recommend that works really well for them.
I was thinking of getting the Murad one as i have heard good reviews about it although it is a little bit on the expensive side has anyone used that one any reviews on it from people that have used it would be great. Thanks
There is this medicine with the ingredient istortitonin…u have to use it for 4-6 months…it actually treats acne…and if it works ok you won’t get acne again…so discuss this option with ur doc
have you tried using a cleanser as a preventative? My fiance had the same problem as you and I recommended to him what my sister does (and it works for her). Use Clean & Clear's Continuous Control Acne Cleanser along with Clean & Clear's dual action moisturizer. This along with using the spot treatment seems to do the trick. It really helped my fiance out who used to only break out sometimes. He like never breaks out since he started using all these products. They are more like preventative than actual treatment for acne ... which is what he needed since acne was never bad or anything. Hope this helped!
p.s. I use the Clean & Clear spot treatments. It still seems to work for me.
something I have done in the past which may seem strange but REALLY works is use toothpaste (not the gel kind - but the regular kind that looks white). I just dab it onto the spots where I seem to get a pimple and leave it on overnnight. It dries it out and works great. I use this method when I have run out of the Clean & Clear and am being lazy about going out to get some more. lol. :p

hmm i usually use spectro gel cleanser for a daily cleanser but i used to use the clean & clear cleanser so i will definetely try this one..........yea i'm not sure why the spot treatment isn't working anymore
