I’m kinda new here so hopefully I get used to this.
Anywhoo, I have had acne problems ever since I was a teen. I have tried everything out there, like no joke. Recently I have been having breakouts but they are more adult acne then anything else and they scar pretty badly. Is there any remedy or any cream or anything that anyone can suggest to get rid of acne scars? I even went to the dermatologist before and took acne medication but I refuse to do so now because I have gone all “natural” and refuse to take any medication. Any suggestions?
Bio oil...i used it for 3 months consistently and it really helped my scars to fade, unfortunately i reacted to another product and had a really bad break which left scars so i've started using it again. I have dry skin so it doesn't make my skin too oily, but i'm not sure how it would work if you have oily skin...

I read some Home Remedies to treat acne scars using Lemon, Tomato, Baking Powder and Honey etc in this week's MagTheWeekly i.e. Oct 29-Nov04 Issue, go through it. Hope that helps!
Retin-A is the way to go. It's like a chemical peel (it peels the skin at first but that is how it works) and it slowly diminishes the scars. Ask your derm to prescribe you one (most insurance companies do cover it), it's the fastest and most affective method of removing acne marks, pigmentation and age spots.
I've been using Vit c serum in the daytime and Retinol by night for the same issue as yours and the result is already quite obvious although it's just been a couple weeks I incorporated these two in my skincare routine. But if you do start using them, be mindful that you have to, have to, have to and, did I say, HAVE TO wear sunscreen, come rain or shine. Because if you don't, you're gonna do even more damage to your skin than you started off with. Both Vitamin C and Retinol make skin uber photosensitive. Also, start off with using the lowest concentration for both and work your way up as your skin assimilates to the concoction. You can do reading on the usage of both before actually start using it.

Eshal Raza: I have tried so many different home remedies. I am afraid to use lemon because I remember using lemon once in another home remedy and it made my skin uber dry and would cause my skin to peel drastically.
M was here and wishkamar: The thing with both of the products you mentioned is that some of my friends used it and they either didn't see much of a difference or their skin went from bad to worse. :S
