Hi girls I wanted to let yall know that I was able to find a pretty good solution of using theater makeup to basically cover up dark acne scars. It’s Ben Nye’s Tattoo coverup:
**Now for people that still suffer with body acne this isn’t something you would want to do often because it’s thick makeup and can clog your pores and lead to more acne. ** However if you need to cover up an unsightly scar for the night I highly recommend it. Be it a bug bite on your ankle or an acne scar on your face or even a burn scar. When I saw my own results I honestly went up to my brother and covered up his freckle, my mother a burn scar and my aunt a birthmark. I was really happy with the product and bought it on ebay.com
I can’t stress how beneficial it is to have a colowheel of colors to blend in with your own color. I tried dermablend at the mall and found it’s too cakey and fake looking and i had to mix a couple different shades and that’s expensive to buy a few containers of that stuff and you still got a very cakey look when I don’t really need it. I rarely wear sleeveless so it’s not really a problem.
Also this guy has amazing makeup tutorials and stuff and watching him deal with his scars that have left craters in his surface I decided if it could fill in i’m sure it can coverup. Anyhow one of the best cosmetics products I have bought this year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJAWVneXoas
The best way to hide acne scars is to first use a filler serum and then apply a concealer. Blot with powder to set. The filler serum will build the depression in the skin so it is on an even surface and the concealer will hide the discolorations.
hachin good to know, do you recommend a particular brand? Also I don't have pitted scars so that doesn't really apply to me but with dark marks the tattoo wheel worked wonders. I'm still on vacation but when I get home i'll show yall pics and stuff if anyone cares to see that.

A great concealer is called Good Riddance by mark. and is only $6! It's in a pencil form and it so terrific. It also helps treat breakouts.
bumping this thread because someone wanted acne solution for pitted scars and this makeup artist really gave awesome tips. Also i’m wondering does anyone want me to do a demo youtube on how I used the ben nye coverup wheen to cover freckles, or dark acne scars?
luckily i don't have deep scars but if you watch the guy in the youtube video he demonstrates how he used the same product to cover up deep scars. i may see if someone in the family has a deep scar and try to play around with it. anyhow i'll upload a youtube to how to cover dark spots and scars this week inshallah. i hope it helps other girls dealing with ugly scars.
Sorry girls I totally forgot I needed to post a video. I’m not really skilled at this stuff and I am keeping this link unlisted.. I’ve never done a tutorial before, and i covered up a really dark mole instead of the lighter flat acne scars I have on my shoulders but I hope yall get the picture of what to do. Especially bc if I could cover up a totally black mole you can understand that I can pretty much coverup anything with this stuff.
Ben Nye is amazing, i got it in the post a week back and it does a great job.
Thanks for the suggestion didn't think it was going to work but it does
I'm really happy that it worked out. I remember seeing infomercials on tv and wondering if that stuff was worth it and dermablend is something I did try and it was expensive and cakey looking this was very natural looking and affordable to experiment with. I think it's going to last a long time too because you barely need any of the product.

Yehp its a must buy for me from now on, dermablend is to expensive but this product is cheap and works great with a little touch of product.
