What oral medication is best for acne. Available in Pakistan. Apart from birth control tablets :frowning:

My guess would be antibiotics. But apart from meds, water and foods like yogurt, green tea, honey, etc help keep skin clear. If you're over-exfoliating, stop.

tetracycline 250 mg...4 capsules a day...2 in the morning and 2 in at night.

if nothing works, then Accutane treatment is another option. the side effects of Accutane treatment is dry/sore lips and/or mouth.

for the prescription, you may have to see a Family Physician or a Dermatologist.

Find out the issue and get that treated instead of self medication. (isn't this obvious)

If your face is heavily acne-fied or get frequent bad break outs then 'Neutrogena' has a good range of ance wash, soaps, scrubs for external use. But again you should get them only if you have heavy break outs. For oral use, sorry, not aware.
