thanks for your reply stoppit!! can u rec a foundation that u feel is good for my situation? also, what type of toner do u use...and do u just store it in the fridge or something?
I use tea tree toner (from Lush) or rose water. I'm in the UK and it's mostly freezing so they are always cold just on my dresser but yes, fridge otherwise! I spritz my face well, about 10mins before moisturising.
Well.. I can only recommend the foundation that I'm using but most people will groan at its mention. Bear in mind I have tried foundation from all the major brands; Chanel, EL, Laura Mercier, Clinique blah blah blah and this is my HG.
It's the only MAC one I like and it's a Pro Product (so most people have never heard of it or used it). It's called Full Coverage and the first time a MUA recommend it to me I was like "yea right" but a few months later after trying many different brands I gave it a go. Unlike the other MAC foundations it doesn't have a strong yellow colour in the NC shades. I lightly press a flat synthetic foundation brush into the compact and then lightly brush this on my cheeks (it warms with contact and easily goes on) for the finest veil of coverage. I then finish off with power all over my face. It makes my cheeks look so even and yet no one thinks I'm wearing any makeup. Some days I even double take later in the day at how smooth they look (knowing how they look without anything, lol).
The brush I use is by Japonesque and is the best synthetic brush I have found for solid cream type products (including concealer).
If you can get to a pro store, they are quite happy to give you a sample in a jar.
