acne and chinese herbal medicine!

salaam guppies!
i have had a spot problem which started when i was like 18, its been the same for two years and i hate it, i’ve finally admitted i have a problem and actually say i have acne.

it may sound stupid but i used to refuse to admit it was an acne problem just some spots that have appeared and then will dissappear, but obviously not :frowning:

ive tried evrytin under the sun (except a dermatologist) and abt 2 months ago sum1 told me that chinese herbal medicine is really efefctive for acne. so ive been on the acne medicine ever since, however i just havent been able to spot a difference, mayb they have gone a little down but thats abt it!

i really dont know wat to do, i just want them to go away fast so i can have my clear skin back again! and these tablets are setting me back £20 a month.

i was just wondering whether any of u guppies have ever tried chinese herbal medicine for acne/anything else, if so did it work and how long does it actually take for the effects of the medicine to show.

also any other advice for me will be much appreciated :flower2:

Aysha, these herbal medicines can have side effects. Herbal remedies are to be treated like prescription drugs. If infact you do have a severe acne problem, stop looking for alternative and start by booking an appointment at the dermatologist. Its better to be safe than sorry.

Oh you could try the pure Vitamin E bottle from a pharmacy and see what it does to those spots. Use it over night as directed.

i have an acne problem too and i have been avoiding a dermatologist . I plan on seeing one soon now. :-/

if your acne is bad..you gotta see a doctor..three people that i know..were prescribed acne medication..two of them were girls..and one guy..and i can see a visible difference in their skins now.

Some products that are used for acne include tea tree oil based products, neem tree products and orange peel products.

drink safi and/or black seed oil, so the impurities from your blood are wiped out + i understand how u feel i have had acne for 3 and a half years now and wat ever my doc' prescribes for me doesn't seem to have any effect, infact i'm worried i might have this problem for life, god forbid!

i heard that cos there herbal made from natural ingredients wagaira waigaira they do not have side effects :konfused:

can i get a dermotologist through my GP?
Have u ever tried this vitamin E cream, is it effective and what’s the name of it?

drink black seed oil? uugghh!
im assuming that it doesnt taste so great but is it actually effective?
and do u take with food? whats the dosage? can u make the taste better?

prophet mohammed :saw: have said that black seed oil has all the cures for any types of illnesses except death so i would say its a pretty useful thing to have, dosage i have no idea i’m sorry.
