I literally go through the entire bottle of achaar to find mango pickle every time … then get disappointed when i cant find it , next choice is lemon achaar :hayaa: … and finally the “nasty stuff” as has been named by Milly … the achaar masala … I looooooove it …

Recently I was missing Arabic pickle so much , I went to the arabic cash n carry and got myself some chilli and carrot in vinegar pickle :yahoo:

any other type of pickle that i might be unaware of ? Do any other cultures have achaars? or is it just us desi’s and arabs :hmmm:

Try making your own.

I have no idea how you do it, my mum used to make it.

I love achaar with just roti and red onions. Proper poor mans food.

Oh I just realised you asked a question... I don't really care to answer it. :p

FYI, the 'masala' is nasty but useful. Kind of like me! :D

I get cravings for achar every so often too and then to satisfy the craving, I eat it for fun. I think I am weird:hinna:

I love Ahmed ka Mango Achaar..! I have it with paratha, I have it with daal chwal, I hvae it with shami kebab etc etc etc
