great.
post it soon na.

well i doubt if Chicken would survive luc's recipe.. so can anyone post the real Chicken Achar Masala recipe.. Fanta?

Ok ok sorry for being the lazy bum I am :snooty:

Ingredients:

Chicken = One, cut in 12 pieces (ya aap ki marzi)
Oil = Around 3/4 cup (but if u wanna use less upto u)
Ginger/ Garlic paste = 1 table spoon each
Cumin seed powder = 1, 1 1/2 tea spoons (upto u u wanna put one or more)
Salt = 3/4 tea spoon is usually enough for one chicken
Red chilli powder = Around 1 tea spoon (i like it spicy)
Onions = 2 large
Yougart = 3 pao (I think there are four pao in a kg, so that would be 3/4 kg, i guess)
Green chillis = 4-5 nicely chopped

Recipe:

As always fry the onions in the oil till they are brown, then put ginger and garlic paste and stir a lil after that add the chicken, cook it until the water of the meat dries and it becomes tender (its better u don’t gulaofy completly)

Add salt and red chilli powder in the yougurt and put it in the chicken. If you galofied your chicken completly before then u can cook it on high heat to evaporate the yougurt water, otherwise cook on medium. When half the yougurt has dried put in cumin seed powder.

** Trick part ** Instead of adding meethi dana, saunf kalongi and other achar masalas I take masala from achar. Take about 3 tea spoons of Achar masala (from any brand of achar bottle) and put it in the chicken when the water from yougurt has dried. This is the time to bhoonofy (I am sure u all know how to do it) When it has been bhonofied add chopped green chillis and a little garam masala.

It tastes best with tandoor ki roti :yumyum:

Hope you understood the recipe. Do try it it’s damn good, if you can make it right :mocking:

It’s actually Kaukab Khwaja’s recipe but the trick part is my own invention :snooty: and that is what makes it easier

thanks.
