Accounting but horrible at math

Re: Accounting but horrible at math

I am not sure about college accounting courses, but in real life accounting, maths is not really a huge factor. Finance has many mathematical formula but accounting has minimal math. As long as you can do addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, you can probably go through most accounting issues that come up in real life.

Personally I was never super enthusiastic about maths myself. My scores were usually high, but maths was not something I'd enjoy. While pursuing my degree in accounting, I had to literally struggle through advanced math courses, as well as statistics (all those permutations and combinations etc). Fortunately none of these are used much later on.
