Reference from Quran:-

So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fitrah of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah . That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.

Reference from Quran: [Ar-Rum 30:30]

O you who believe! Let not your properties or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. And whosoever does that, they are the losers.

Reference from Quran: [Al-Munafiqun 63:9]

"My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds, such as please You, and make my off-spring good. Truly, I have turned to You in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims (submitting to Your Will)."

Reference from Quran: [Al-Ahqaf 46:15]

Our wealth and your children are only a trial, whereas Allah! With Him is a great reward (Paradise).

Reference from Quran: [At-Taghabun 64:15]

References from Hadees:-

The Prophet (S.A.W.) said: Order your children to pray at the age of seven. And beat them [lightly] if they do not do so by the age of ten. And separate them in their bedding.

Abu Huraira, narrated that the Prophet said, "Every child is born with a true faith (i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone) but his parents convert him to Judaism or to Christianity or to Magainism, as an animal delivers a perfect baby animal. Do you find it mutilated?"

Abu Salmah related that Abu Hurayrah (R.A.) said, "The Prophet of Allah kissed Hasan ibn 'Ali while Aqra' ibn Habis(R.A.) was sitting nearby. Aqra' said, 'I have ten children and have never kissed one of them.' The Prophet (S.A.W.) looked at him and said, 'Those who show no mercy will be shown no mercy.'"
